## Minnesota House of Representatives

Wikipedia's account places her election during the backlash that followed the fatal shootings of two Minnesotans, Renee Good and Alex Pretti, by agents of United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement.[^6]
Luger-Nikolai took office on February 3, 2026. [[Shelley Buck]], who had won a separate special election that January, was sworn in the same day.[^6]
